The recession has been deemed officially over, but for many workers, finding employment is still a daily struggle. Job Centers and other Workforce Development Organizations are working diligently to help dislocated, rapid response and many other job seekers find meaningful employment in the 21st Century. In order for job seekers to successful increase their value to a changing business marketplace, it is becoming imperative for them to assess their passions and transferable skills with the goal of increasing their job opportunities. Our training and coaching programs are designed to help job seekers accomplish this goal, as well as helping workforce development staff improve their ability to assist their clients in multiplying their job possibilities.
With over a decade of successful Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) training experience as a contractor, our workshops resonate with clients and inspires them expand their horizons. WorkshopsTurning Passions Into Careers™ This high-energy workshop is designed to help dislocated, rapid response and underemployed workers assess their personal passions that can be turned into jobs and careers. Attendees go through an introspective and motivational process of assessing personal interest and transferable skills (abilities gained as a result of work or volunteer experiences) that have the ability to multiply their job possibilities. Helping Unemployed Workers Develop Transferable Skills This workshop is designed to help job center staff and other workforce development professionals enhance their ability to assist clients in developing transferable skills. Staff will learn new techniques that have the ability to increase the job seekers employment opportunities based upon skills they already possess. The Passion Mapping Seminar™-Connecting Dreams To Careers and Education™ Our HYPE (Helping Youth Pursue Excellence) WIA (Workforce Investment Act) was successful due to our ability to help our youth identify passion that can be connected to future careers and their current education. Thousands of youth in WIA Programs, School Districts and Youth Organizations have taken part in this highly motivational event. Students will learn the process of developing a strategy for connecting their dreams to education and careers. This workshop will be life changing for the youth in your programs. |
